Q1. Do you charge for delivery or staff?
Delivery is included in the price of your hire if you're located within 30 minutes of Buckfastleigh. If you're further away, a small delivery charge may apply. If you would like staff at your event, this will be charged separately. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Q2. How long can we have the bouncy castle?
You can hire the bouncy castle for the whole day if you wish. Our latest collection time is around 10pm. If you need the equipment later, a late-night collection charge will apply.
Q3. Can you collect the bouncy castle the next morning?
Unfortunately we do not do overnight hires.
Q4. What happens if something goes wrong?
We're here to help. If there are any issues with the bouncy castle during your hire, we’ll return to the venue to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.
Q5. Do I need to pay a deposit?
We do ask for a non-refundable booking payment. Refunds may be issued at our discretion, depending on the reason for cancellation and the notice given. Your booking is only confirmed once the payment has been received.
Q6. Can I hire a bouncy castle for a party in a hall?
Yes, absolutely! We just ask that you confirm the ceiling height in advance so we can ensure the bouncy castle will fit safely.
Q7. Can you deliver a bouncy castle at short notice?
Yes, we can often accommodate last-minute bookings. We’re just a phone call away—get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.
Q8. Can we hire a bouncy castle for more than one day?
Certainly! We offer special rates for longer hires. Let us know your requirements and we’ll tailor a package for you.
Q9. Can we hire more than one bouncy castle?
Yes, of course. Many customers hire multiple bouncy castles—for example, one for the children and another for adults, or with added extras. Just let us know what you need.
Q10. Do we need power?
Yes, you'll need to provide a power source. All our blowers use standard 13-amp plugs. If power isn’t available at your location, we have generators available to hire—just ask when booking.
Q11. Can adults use all the equipment?
Children’s bouncy castles and equipment are strictly for children only. If adults use children's equipment and damage occurs, the customer will be responsible for repair or replacement costs. We do offer bouncy castles suitable for adults—please ask if you're unsure.
Q12. Can I use face paints on the equipment?
Unfortunately, no. Face paints stain our equipment. If face paints are used, a cleaning or replacement fee will be automatically applied.
Q13. Can a bouncy castle be set up on hard standing?
No. We do not set up on hard surfaces such as driveways, patios, decking, artificial grass, or gravel/chippings. If we arrive and find the surface is unsuitable, we will be unable to set up—and the hire charge will still apply.
Q14. What happens if it’s raining or windy?
We will not set up any bouncy castle or equipment during wet, windy, or stormy conditions, including lightning. If the weather is unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and refund your deposit in full.
Q15. What if it rains after delivery?
If it starts to rain after setup, we strongly recommend not using the bouncy castle, as it may become slippery and dangerous. Safety comes first.
Q16. What happens if the bouncy castle gets dirty or damaged during the hire?
If the bouncy castle becomes dirty (e.g. with mud, sweets, chocolate, drinks, etc.), a cleaning fee of £40 per hour will be charged. Cleaning and drying typically takes 3–4 hours. If the bouncy castle or any equipment is damaged during hire, the customer will be responsible for the cost of repairs, replacements, and any loss of earnings due to downtime.
